MMA Fighting brings word that welterweights Chris Lytle and Matt Brown are in talks to throw down at UFC 116, which is set to take place on July 3 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"Lights Out" and the "Immortal" are best known for their reckless abandon inside the Octagon. And that willingness to put it all on the line time after time is a trait that has turned both gentlemen into fan favorites.

This fight will also serve as a rematch between the two brawlers as their first match up back in 2007 in the now defunct United Fight League (UFL) saw Lytle defeat Brown with a guillotine choke.

Considering that revenge is at stake, you can be sure that both men will be brining their A-games to the contest.

Lylte (38-17-5) was last seen in action at UFC 110: "Nogueira vs. Velasquez," where he shocked the MMA world by taking home "Submission of the Night" honors with a first round victory over Brain Foster via kneebar. It's not that Chirs isn't capable on the ground, he actually holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, but coincidentally enough, the last time Lylte was involved in a contest that was stopped due to submission was his win over Brown three years ago.
