| SF has a one fight option for Shields. I think he'll probably stay but that is not why Dana White is happy. He's happy he can really jack the price up on Shields now and make Strikeforce overpay dearly. That is what is going to have to happen. SF kind of won and lost tonight because their champ beat a highly regarded PRIDE/UFC fighter but they wanted Dan to win so they can just let Shields walk. No doubt about that.
Coker said he had an option on Jake though. So we'll see what thats about. Scott....Jacare or bust.
Mayhem was just being a douche bag and should be removed. He should not get Diaz, he should not get an undeserved rematch with Jake Shields. He should go back to Japan and stay there. He embarrased Strikeforce.
CBS was worried about Shinya Aoki...AOKI stirring shit up. Aoki was pure class tonight. One of the guys CBS probably pushed to get on the card embarrased Strikeforce. | |
