Fix History

Does anyone recall any instances of a fix controversy.

The Kimbo thing with EliteXC sort of was. I am trying to recall something else though, an older fighter like Coleman or Severn possibly having a controversial or questionable fight.

Kimbo vs James Tomson was an odd one, Kimbo not defending himself getting tagged for damn near minute. then the stoppage with Thomsons ear hangin off

hard to know how many Pride fights (especially early) were on the level

Mezger vs Sakuraba is prime example. In the contracts it said no draw, Guy comes out whips Sakuraba's ass and is on his way to face Royce Gracie. Draw go another round. Guy was gonna lose the fight even if he knocked Sakuraba out

Oleg Taktarov vs Anthony Macias at UFC 6 definitely wasnt on the level. Macias and Mezger were the only 2 alternates and didnt want to face Oleg their training partner. Mezger refused, Macias talked himself into a little more moeny, went out shot for Olegs leg, and got guillotine'd in the fastest submission in UFC history. Zuffa has swept this fight under the rug and act like it never happened. Guy Mezger said in an interview after being asked "what is the one thing in your career that you are most proud of?" he said , "that I never took a dive in a fight."

Never seen the fight and can't seem to find a video.

I see people thought it was a work...maybe they needed to act one out to make Shannon Ritch look competitive because it's not like the beast didnt beat that guy multiple times.

Severn still has the guts to take on the new breed. Example, ownage of Forrest Griffin.

I am a big fan of Severn, just saying there are rumors
