Forget Godzilla, the Axe Murderer is upon them again.

Japan is still years away. People will say Wanderlei will steamroll Sexiyama, but honestly Yoshihiro has all the tools needed to beat Wanderlei - heavy hands, speed, athleticism, durability, and good counters in slugfests.

Akiyama is good, this is gonna be real close IMO, FOTN quality and I could make a case for Sexiyama winning.

Wand steam rolls Sexyama. He doesn't have the tools to beat Wand. He didn't even have the tools to beat Belcher. That decision was BS. He's undersized, doesn't have a Wand's power, and gives up a lot of strength which will hurt in the clinch even though he's a black belt in Judo. And then you throw in some possible ring rust since he only fought once in 2009 and this will be his first fight in 2010.

Farmer, if were more familar with Sexy's career I am not sure you'd say some of the things you're saying there.

In my opinion Akiyama won every round of that Belcher fight I thought watching it live, and certainly two of three in retrospect, and Alan Belcher is growing into one of the best MW's in the UFC, anyway.

Wand has been rocked and knocked down by Japanese fighters his whole career who hit half as hard and are twice as slow as Akiyama. Akiyama has a lot of power in his shots and has been fighting dudes bigger than him his whole career. If there really is a decline to Wand's durability, a hard combination from Yoshihiro could easily knock him out.

Akiyama is real farmer.

This could be a slugfest and FOTN, but I think a early ko is gonna be the outcome. Could go either way. Wolf is right. I got familiar with Akiyama and the dude is badass!
