Anyone watching Friday Night Fights tomorrow night?

A local product, that is about a 15 minute drive from where I live, is boxing in the main event.

no my buddy's band that i went with on their tour is playing in Austin tomorrow .. so I be attending that shiz... I usually record matches on my DVR anyway.

Not a bad fight either. He does look pretty good.

Yeah, he's got loads of talent. He's also Pac-Man's sparring partner which im sure helps him out quite a bit as well.

Yeah, I didnt think the fights last night were too bad. I shoulda went...tickets were pretty cheap.

I think Shawn Porter will be a title contender in the future.

i thought so. that was my first time watching him fight actually. I had read about him in the newspapers plenty of times, but that was my first time watching him fight.

His last opponent had a 10" reach advantage on him, which is a HUGE DEAL in boxing lol people can make up for that big of a reach in MMA, but its much harder in boxing...Porter is definately legit.

hopefully ESPN , FOX, SHOW, or HBO wull pick him up so we can watch how he progresses. I hate watching a good prospect getting excited and then never seeing him again. THere was some guy in 2007 ESPN alwayshad, something Greene, never heard from him after. Do remember watching Andre Berto come up that summer though so not complaining too hard

Well, he's only 22 years old, so he has plenty of time to get there..thats for sure lol
