I was very impressed, looked mediocre standing but had nice kicks, and GREAT wrestling, nice sub attempt at the end

Reminds me alot of Kevin Randlemans debut at UFC 19

What did yall think, I think the kid has alot of upside and looked impressive in his debut

Another tough guy at 205. Difficult fight for anyone.

It nuts how much he reminded me of Randleman vs SMith

decision win, clear cut, take downs and stand up
just weird how similar those debuts where

add in both are physical specimen wrestler freaks

Going to enjoy watching this kid

Just like Joe said looks exactly like a 205 black GSP. The body, the hair, the thighs, and of course the wrestling.

He needs to ditch Loyd Irvin and get with a real camp though.

Basically he is a typical great wrestler who can wear his opponents down but his ground and pound is too under developed at this stage to finish anybody at a high level.

King Mo would probably rape him.

He looked really good for his octagon debut. He has the base to be great, if he works hard he will have a great future.

The best fighter in his gym is Brandon Vera by a long margin. Time to find some real training partners. Go hang out with GSP.

Also, the cornering we heard from Irvin was really exceptionally terrible tonight.

I thought he was OK. Im not very high on Stann, but it was Davis's UFC debut. I thought the pedigree and physique were more impressive then the performance.
