The UFC have wasted no time making good on their promise of targeting illegal downloader’s and piracy by filing a lawsuit against Allston, Massachusetts bar, The Draft.

According to a report by the Boston Herald, the promotion is seeking damages totalling $640,000 plus legal costs for an illegal screening of the UFC 104 event on October 24th.

According to eyewitnesses the bar hooked up a laptop to its television set and played the event in its entirety. The bars owner, Derek Brady claims he didn’t realise the customer providing the stream was doing so illegally.

So it costs $640,000 for a bar to get the UFC fight? lol Man I hate Zuffa. Do they really think hard core fans are going to pay 50 bucks a month to watch this crap?

Dude, if that guy didn't know that, he deserves to never own or operate a business either! The price that they are asking is based on penalties that the other Purchasers have in their contract. This protects the payers who know that if they win they will get a few sheckels back.
