| Not the worst all time, but ti was bad.
Melvin did land at least 4 big shots standing. I think he finishes it quickly even if the ref doesn't stop it. | |

| There has been worse stoppages...but i'm pretty sure Manhoef was going to finish him just seconds later.
but fights were getting stopped too early last night. | |

| Worst of all time? Not even close. It seemed like there were a lot of quick stoppages this year, but in reality there are one or two stoppages as bad as that on every MMA card. This stoppage was no different than Hendrix over Saddollah or Paulo Thiago over Kos or Kos over Trigg. Not great stoppages but not robberies.
In the ref's defense, both guys looked out when they hit the ground. Like AA when Rogers KO'd him. Awake a second later but it was already too late.
I can tell you this though, because of all the quick stoppages that night, it's a good thing Kid was standing far away from the ref when he took the shot he did or he never woulda had a chance to get robbed by the judges later in that fight... | |
