1. Biggie Smalls - simply the best ever

2. Lil Wayne - i know alot of people hate him but he is the most creative rappers out right now. His mixtapes are ridiculous. He's the only rapper that can make me luagh out loud from his hooks.

3. Jay Z - Took over where Biggie left off

4. Big L - one of the truly most creative mc's ever. If you have never heard him look up his 7 minute freestyle with jay-z.

5. Nas - his early shit from the 90's was classic. Illmatic is still one of the best albums of all time imo

6. Jadakiss - probably the 2nd best rapper out right now. Have you ever tried to do the Jada laugh?

7. Eminem - i absolutley hate all of his popular songs. But there is something to admire about songs like Rock Bottom, Role Model, etc.

8. Snoop Dogg - got to have me some Gin n Juice

9. Tupac - the most gangsta ass shit

10. Big Pun - Still not a player, Beware, Chainsaw

Rakim- dropped some sick lyrics
KRS-One- best lyricist ever
Biggie- all time great...not in the top 3 IMO though
Joe Budden- underrated. His old stuff was good.
Jay Z- his old shit was great and I loved his collab song with Eminem called "renegade"
Talib Kweli - old stuff was great

than you havnt heard Dead Prez .. as racist as it comes (rumored but could be heard in the lyrics) ... they were the intro to The Chappelle Show which is probably what they are most famous for even though they have been around since 96 ..

Ice Cube turned into one of the most manufactured artists out there, so thats odd coming from you just basing off the other thread.

Ya Ive heard Dead Prez mentioned by guys who like real shit. And I am talking old school Ice Cube. Ozzy may be one of the most manufactured artists now with Dog the Bounty Hunter intros and the Numetal dickfeast known as Ozzfest, but Black Sabbath in 72 was as real as if got. Same thing there.
