| I listen to this show on the radio with 2 former OU players and they talk about their juicers all the time. They swear by them. They say once you have a real juicer you can't drink any of the store shit. They also talk about how it's easy to slip something in healthy that doesn't really effect the taste. I can't remember the combo Teddy Lehman was talking about. | |

well I am the kind of person where if I keep losing my pens, I buy an expensive pen and I don't anymore. I did a lot of research and bought a really nice juicer, not super expensive for the style of juicer it is but as I am not a millionaire, it was pricy.. and I work in the produce department of a specialty grocery store (like a whole foods.. actually you are from Texas: its Central Market) .. so bringing home produce to juice isn't a hassle.. At the moment I am very motivated and determined to wake up and drink a green juice in the morning we will see.

we will see. You might get hooked if it's anything like Dusty and Teddy say it is on the radio. They can't live without it now.

Yeah that is one of the major perks they talk about. You can add in some healthy stuff you wouldn't normally drink but combined with other juices you won't even notice it.

| I have a magic bullet. I mix about 20 16oz mixes per week. Always red, black or blue colored low GI fruits aand either non fat or water, stevia and what ever sups or vitamins the schedule calls for. Easy routines form followable habits. | |

| Bought my bro(we share a 2 family house) a juicer last christmas. So I got to enjoy that a bit. Don't think he uses it too much now though.
Got my girlfriend a blender this christmas. We still use it a decent amount.
I think I like the blender better. More versatile, and I think the blender allows more fiber into the diet. Thought the latter is just an opinion and not substantiated by any research.

Not too concerned about fiber.. concerned for highest intake of nutrients from raw vegetables .. I feel like I would rather juice leafy greens & root vegetables and just eat fruits rather than blending them all in a smoothie .. and I fully believe that blending has enough heating involved that removes a lot of nutrients in vegetables.. Which is why I made sure to get a juicer that masticates rather than blends.. at a very slow RPM..
