I really thought election, sandy and Petraeus would have burried this story but it just wont die. What do you think is a realistic outcome of this debacle?

Whatever happened I doubt we get the truth. I bet some people, even maybe the commander in chief, made some very big errors.

The secretary of state should be fired

Absolutely want to know what happened. If there was a major error it would be nice to know that it can not be covered up.

However, and I hate to sound callous here, Americans dieing in the middle east doesn't sound like a huge story to me. I know it's an ambassador and not troops, but still, it's literally a war zone.

President has done a good job of taking the heat. Never actually giving specifics, but he is standing front and center on the issue.

By front and center you mean he lied about it and blamed some pointless video then got called on it later. The Seals family think Obama owes them an apology for doing nothing to save their kids.

And ambassador Chris Stevens family have asked conservatives to stop politicizing his death .....

Do we know he lied? Or was he working with the info given to him?

People choose to believe it was a lie regardless if it was or not that was a given.

The day before 9-11-12 zawahiri issued a call for martyrs to attack western targets as revenge for Al-Liby . CNN briefly reported on this but dropped it

I feel this is clearly an al Qaeda linked Libyan militia attack. We will not capture the perpetrators (much like the Christmas Mumbai attacks where the perpetrators openly live on Pakistan with a 10 million reward on their head).

This was a very sad incident but te conservatives jumping on this as of some huge cover up took place I pathetic, let's be serious here, an attack happened under George Bushs watch where 3,000 people died, Bush fought and attempted to book any investigation of the attack an eventually 4 years later, te 9-11 commission was printed. 4 years, mean while Sean Hannity screams that he is entitled to every fact. I think it will take a lot of time to find Iu what happened and th fact that the FBI could not get their to investigate while CNN somehow ended up with our ambassadors personal journal, well that just shows you how much work is to be done.

Clearly an al Qaeda affiliated attack or at least inspired by them

Also, PAKISTAN Funded the Taliban, not Al Qaeda ( they were created 88)

Also it shoud be understood that 22 countries had anti American demonstrations on 9-11 this year with the majority of them citing the video. People claiming this video was just propped up by the administration are wrong, initial CIA intelligence cited the video as well

He is saying the CIA initially called it a terrorist attack but that talking points did not include this, republican but job Peter king is satin Patreaus did not initially tell them tha he believed it was a terrorist attack.

What is being said is that it was initially believed that there was a demonstration at the Libyan consulate (which we now know did not happen)

3,000 americans died on September 11th due to George Bush Jr's failures. The initial inquiries into 9-11 were blocked by Bush and he set up the 9-11 Commission which took nearly 4 YEARS TO PUBLISH THEIR FINDINGS

4 Americans died on September 11, due to Obamas lack of oversight. Republicans politicized it day 1 and are acting like these inquiries happen over night.

It makes them look foolish.
