The past 5 days Israel has dealt with Syria shelling the Gilan Heights and rocket fire from GaA, today Israel launched an air strike that killed the leader of Hamas only two days after Egypt attempted. To broker a deal between the two.
This is a clear warning to Egypt and gaza as Israel has vowed another offensive into the region if rocket fire continues from there.
This is a big deal because Jabari (Hamas military leader who was killed) had organized a much tougher than expected resistance to Israel's 2008-2009 operation cast lead. Looks as if another operation into Gaza is coming soon
