Robbie Lawler vs. Trevor Prangley likely for Strikeforce: Evolution

Mauro says Manhoef is still a possible opponent for Lawler.

If it is Lawler vs. Prangley, i'm actually pretty stoked for that fight. I think Prangley is criminally underrated and i think he can beat Lawler and get himself back on the map.

So it's still not official? does Mo have an opponent? we're 18 days away from the event and we're still looking at 2 open slots on the main card? SF is sleeping, poorly done.

Mo is fighting Mike Whitehead in a HW bout, thats been known for a few weeks now.

Lawler was going to fight Benji Radach but Radach is not medically cleared to fight. Don't go by the official website. Mousasi-Sok and Silva-Werdum werent "official" untill about 2 days before the event according to Strikeforce.com.

So, they arent sleeping. If not for Radach the card would be pretty much official and i don't call adding Thompson-Melendez less than a week ago sleeping.

I heard radach was more along the lines of not wanting to fight on short notice, which is something I've heard more then once regarding a possible SF fighter. My bad on Mo, I had actually heard that. But not having these fights official is pretty amatureish, wether they are probable or not.

hopefully Prangley, if he is indeed the opponent, is properly prepared.

This fight is official. It says in the article that Mamed Khalidov was also under strong consideration to fight. That would have been interesting but i think Lawler-Prangley is a good matchup for both fighters with Lawler coming off a big loss and Prangley trying to get his biggest win in a long time, probably ever.
