I still think Gil is better then Thompson even though Thompson might have won that last fight. Tough calls at the top, everyone is so talented but I give Gil a great chance to win vs anyone. Others are high on Edgar when you can argue that he is 2-3 over his last 5 fights. | |

| Thomson is underrated. Injuries derailed his career yet he is still able to fight at a top tier level when healthy. | |

| I don't know that Thomson is a real measuring stick for Gil's real skillset here. Maybe Thomson is just "that guy" who will always give Gil trouble. | |
