theres a difference between flips Obama has made (care to name your biggest grievances) and saying that you will do more for the gay community than Ted Kennedy, you aren't a Reagan/Bush Republican and that you support a woman's right.........10 years later and he has changed every one of those positions.

Remember when ROmneyCare was good for all the nation? he has had to deny den deny ever since 2008 on that one. What about his stance on the bail out of GM.

from 2008 to 2010 the economy was recovering and would be recovering quicker if the Repiblicans didnt start blocking in 2010.

He also ran on a Healthcare reform platform which was just upheld TODAY and will take effect in 2014

He ended the war in Iraq, just as HE CAMPAIGNED ON

He went into Pakistan and killed Bin Laden just as he said he would in a debate against McCain.

He bailed out GM and today they are the number 1 auto seller in the world.

We still have troops in Iraq, we still have an economy in shambles, and we still had an unemployment rating of over 10% up until January of this year. His plan for the budge deficit has flopped about as badly as possible. But that alien stuff does ease My mind.

personally I don't think oil was the #1 factor. simply put, Bush knew we had a big military capable of overthrowing regimes but not combatting terrorism (hence the government sponsor "we will not differentiate between the countries who harbor")
Bush was convinced by Rummy and Cheney that he could shake up the middle east and geo-politically change the balance in the middle east.

He succeeded, he just fucked it all up and Iran filled the power vacuum. Oil Money was an afterthought, military contracts made them more money than the oil.
