Strikeforce to counter program WEC 45

Evolution is going head to head with the single worst Zuffa card of the year. This is an awesome move by Strikeforce. They should try to counter every WEC program from here on out. This both sends a message to Zuffa and also adds further pressure to an already unstable WEC, hopefully causing it's eventual collapse into the UFC.

Le, Smith, Jacare, Lindland, Lawler, Lawal is significantly more appealing than Carrone vs an unknown, Horodecki vs an unknown, a cool fight between Joe and Ronnie, and Mizugaki against that sloppy wrestler with creepy skin.

Yeah. WEC may be apart of Zuffa, but their shows don't do particulalry well without Urijah, and thats only getting worse now that VS. is off DirecTV. Right now, they are pretty much an easy target for Strikeforce to attack to avoid the attack of the re-runs

I actually would not be surprised if UFC just said fuck it, 106 re-run anyway. I don't know why you build a card around Cerrone-9mm anyway...i mean, 9mm lost to Marcus Hicks.

Well, I guess I'm the lone WEC ranger. But it's only because every one of the last 5 WEC events have delivered with excellent action. The names might not be as appealing, but the lighter weight fighters are just plain exciting to watch. I'm also not a big Cung Le fan, he's never done anything for me.

I didn't even know they were on at the same time. Guess that says it all right there. SF easy

Key issue = WEC(Vs) is freeer than Stikeforce(Showtime). That said, I'll probably end up watching both consecutively. The Show has fights, too bad it couldn't really stick it to zuffa and get Lashley on board to draw viewers to another CBS show.

On the other hand, Strikeforce has...well only strikeforce. The UFC can counterprogram all day long and they are assembling some of the best Pride fights for Spike to show on the tele. Additionally, it will only make them look pitiful going up against WEC. The WEC is good watching, but not the UFC. If Strikeforce really starts trying to make life difficult for Zuffa, Lorenzo will authorize a purchase of Bellator, expand the roster size of the UFC, and counterprogram against Strikeforce commercials as well. It is a no win for SF.

I would watch the strikeforce card cause WEC will show reruns every single day until a new WEC card comes on lol.
