Former Strikeforce champion Marloes Coenen (19-5) and fellow 145-pounder Romy Ruyssen (5-1) will meet in the headliner of the debut Invicta Fighting Championships event.

The all-female card takes place April 28 at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kan.

Former UFC, Strikeforce and IFL talent-relations executive Shannon Knapp serves as the upstart organization's vice president and co-founder.

Currently, no broadcast or streaming plans have been announced, but tickets go on sale Friday and start at just $35.

Co-headlining the event are strawweights (105 pounds) Jessica Penne (8-1) vs. Lisa Ellis-Ward (14-7). Other main-card bouts include bantamweights Liz Carmouche (5-2) vs. Ashleigh Curry (1-0), bantamweights Leslie Smith (3-2) vs. Kaitlin Young (7-5), bantamweights Sarah D'Alelio (4-2) vs. Shana Nelson (5-2), and flyweights Sally Krumdiack (9-4) vs. Sarah Schneider (5-5).

Prelims include strawweights Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc (7-5) vs. Amy Davis (2-2), flyweights Sarah Maloy (2-2) vs. Michele Gutierrez (3-2), featherweights Mollie Estes (1-0) vs. Randi Miller (0-0), flyweights Ashley Cummins (2-0) vs. Sofia Bagherdai (4-1), and strawweights Jessica Philippus (0-0) vs. Meghan Wright (1-3).

Doesn't mean bitches can't/won't get KTFO. Also alot of these fights are at smaller weight classes so you can expect action. I bet it will be a good watch.

On April 28, Invicta Fighting Championships will launch its all-female fight series, and now, anyone with Internet access will be able to see it.

Promotion officials announced Wednesday that the 12-bout card will be streamed in its entirety on InvictaFC.com beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

“Since we announced the formation of Invicta, we’ve received tremendous support and interest from fight fans around the world who are eager to watch some of the best fighters in the women’s field of MMA compete in our first event,” said Shannon Knapp, Invicta president and co-founder, in the official release.
