| Idk if GSP could get up to 185, that'd be a tough weight for him to make IMO...that one might have to be a catch-weight fight IMO but here goes my predictions anyways.
HW: Cain- he's shown me alot in his last two fights, Mir has not. Cain wins.
LHW: No question in my mind that Silva would win this in the FIRST ROUND
MW: IF Gsp had to make 185 for this fight i'd take Marquardt. If it was a catch-weight fight, then i'd take GSP without hesitation.
WW: BJ Penn
LW: Diego Sanchez- he's on a tear as of late, and Ken-flo got dominated in his last fight. | |

I say Mir because he'll get a sub if Cain tries to lay on him for 3 rounds

Anderson because he is the best. Rashad will try to stand with him and get KTFO

This is too hard to tell. They're on the same team so it'll never happen.
Welterweight= Mike Swick vs BJ Penn
Swick via not gassing. I just have a hard time picking Penn when he fights at 170. History tells me he is going to gas.
Lightweight= Diego Sanchez vs Kenny Florian
Diego already beat him so I figure he;'d beat him again | |

Mir would survive enough of Cain's onslaught to eventually catch him in a sub late in the fight. Stand-up probably favors Mir too at this point.
Light-Heavyweight= Rashad Evans vs Anderson Silva
Rashad could take him down at will, but Anderson's striking would probably allow him to "Machida" Evans.
Middleweight= Nate Marquardt vs GSP
Too quick for Marquardt on the feet, or the ground, and wouldn't be bullied by him the way Kampmann was.
Welterweight= Mike Swick vs BJ Penn
BJ's strikes would be just as quick, and his sub attempts would probably earn him the win.
Lightweight= Diego Sanchez vs Kenny Florian
Diego destroyed him in the first fight, and while Kenny has improved, so has Diego.

Mir would take that one, given he is just too dangerous off his back, He wouldn't have seen someone of Mir's Submission ability before.
Evans is tougher than some give him credit for, however I see Silva taking the fight in the early third after he figured out Evans timing well enough.
Are you kidding? Marquardt could easily fight Light Heavyweight. He has strong Wrestling and his Striking is better than GSPs. Sorry but even in a catchweight situation Marquardt takes this one based on his skillset, power, and size.
BJ Penn would probably end up pulling Guard after he figured out that Swick is lethal when healthy in the standup. Probably a split decision win for Penn if he doesn't sub Swick earlier on.
Diego would outwork Kenny Florian and probably win the fight via knockout. | |
