UFC 139: Shogun vs. Hendo Bonuses

6 UFC fighters were awarded an extra $70K for their efforts Saturday night in San Jose. One of the most stacked cards top to bottom on paper also delivered whether you saw it in person or on screen. Here are the bonuses for UFC 139: Shogun vs. Hendo.

Fight of the Night: Mauricio Rua vs. Dan Henderson / Wanderlei Silva vs. Cung Le

Knockout of the Night: Michael McDonald

Submission of the Night: Urijah Faber

That all looks good, I was thinking Silva might of got the KO of the night over McDonald but this works out way better.

Im glad they put Wand and Cung on FOTN also cause it was a very exciting fight.

On any other card Kampmann v Story could have been FOTN too. That was a fun one with a little bit of everything.

I disagree on SOTN. I think Weidman should have gotten it for putting Lawler to sleep with a Darce.

Both were awesome but Faber did it to a top ranked guy I guess thats why he got the nod.

Very true. Rogan was all over Cung's nuts and wrong 100% on the stoppage. Wand would have ended Cung's movie career if he didn't already.

Was Joe arguing that the Wanderlei KO was a bad stoppage? It was so far from a bad stoppage... He was hurt, don't know what they showed on tv, but he was hurt bad.

They showed him hurt bad on TV also

as soon as the ref jumped in and Goldie was doing his "it's all over" routine Joe yelled out BAD STOPPAGE

It was an iffy stoppage from what I was watching but it was Cung Le so you have to account he was just going to fold from that point forward. He was finished

Like I said yesterday, it was a good stoppage. Cung was not coming back from that and there was no need for him to take more punishment.
