JoPa fired!!!!

Well he never even got the chance to coach this weekend and I feel it was the right decision. He made a terrible choice not to do more and innocent children suffered. He had to go.

Yesterday it was looking like they wouldn't allow the retirement JoPa was hoping for. This may sound weird but I'm torn on that subject.

It doesn't sound weird, I'm to the point where I basically have no opinion anymore. I do kind of feel like he should've coached this weekend, but everytime he speaks it seems like the raped kids is at best his secondary concern.
Either way it's hard to see a guy that's put it 61 years to anything have his entire life shut down. Looking at it through his eyes, can you imagine being him and not be allowed at the school or on the field, etc... Just a crazy situation.

I think they did the right thing by firing Joe but how the fuck does that assistant who saw it and told Joe about it have a job still. I assumed by this time that that guy was already gone but he's still got a job??? I'm all for the firing of Joe but this mother fucker walked in on a kid getting abused and just turned around and walked out!!! Fuck that guy, he should be fired, should've been fired already I can't fucking believe it.

Different circumstances completely but it's still kind of crazy that the top 2 coaches in all time wins in college football didn't get to leave on their own terms.

Shows where college sports have gone and where they are going. There are scandals at every school.

This is bigger than legacy. It doesn't matter who you are or what you've accomplished. This is bigger, this is terrible. Read most of the 23 page report. Not good. They have a few more firings to be made. Last night getting rid of who they did was a step in the right direction. The reaction on PSU campus has been pretty disgusting.

Well listening to the radio the PSU campus was nutty before this happened. You know how many people have called JoPa a "father figure" and say things like "I look to him for what is right". They literally worshiped this man.

With JoPa getting fired and Mike McQueary still able to coach it just makes it seem like JoPa is being fired because he was the face of Penn St and less about his actions or lack of. That is just the impression that gives me.

Yeah I think there maybe some legal shit going on with him. The university may have to watch how they fire him because he could file a law suit and say that He was told to keep it quiet or he would never coach again. U never know. The whole whistle-blower thing could come into play in this case.

They removed JoPa's name from the Championship trophy at Penn St. Was that the right call? I don't really agree with that.

So JoPa should be stricken from the record as ever been coach? Do you think they should take away all his wins and proclaim Bobby the new all time leader in wins?

Dude I don't think he deserves one once of credit for shit! He's a peice of shit that let 8 kids get molested by not calling the cops as soon as....my god you already know this! WTF how can you defend a guy that let this shit happen under his watch I'm honestly mind boggled by your remaining admiration for this bastard. FUCK HIM!

I don't think this should erase his entire legacy. It's obviously extremely tarnished and everyones first thought when JoPa's name is mentioned from now until the end of time will be this tragic chain of events.
