Looks like we just had a cop shooting in my town

One of the techs just came in and said there is like 20 cop cars with SWAT team and local news is out there. I guess the word is there was a shoot out and a cop got shot. Interested to see what actually happened but that's alot of law enforcement.

LAWTON Okla_ Lawton Police are in pursuit of a suspect near 23rd and Atlanta in north Lawton. LPD PIO Captain Akard said there was an officer-involved shooting.

LPD will hold a press conference shortly to release their official, updated information.

Swinney Elementary School in the area, but this incident is not directly connected to the school. The school has been locked down as part of LPS standard precaution.

I think someone might have died and someone else might be on the lose. SWAT team still rolling deep and they have a big area marked off with yellow tape.

Yeah he is expect to make a full recovery it says. Looks like the 1st suspect could be dead. People saying the whole body was covered as they took it away and they aren't giving any updates on the 1st suspects health. 2nd guy is still on the lose.

The caller stated that two black males were observed going toward the back of the house, after one of them knocked on the front door.
