Would your opinion on a fighter change if...

He got busted taking steroids? I'm not talking about what happened with Nate Marquardt but if he got busted taking steroids. I honestly don't know what I would think of GSP if he ever tested for it. What about you guys?

Yes it would change for me, but not as crazy and dramatic as some others.

My opinion on GSP would have to change publicly but as a fighter no because I am sure he does them just like his opponents do.

Nope. Josh Barnett is one of my favorite fighters.

Mine would. I hate steroids. They are a plague on sports.

Still, at the end of the day, Im going to watch. And if the guy is impressive Ill put my disdain aside.

Of course it would change my opinion, I hate cheaters cough "Greeseboy".

I would be like "Lazy motherfucker! You can't KO anyone, but your taking steroids, Kenny?" Then I would watch him fight and probably root for him.

I think less of Bonnar, I definitely think less of Leben since even on roids he didn't even come close to beating Bisping. I think less of Nate but not Chael since his situation was different. As far as I know Chael wasn't testing above normal levels.

There's just too many guys that are definitely doing stuff for me to act all pissed if someone happened to get caught. Vilify him but then root for a guy in the next fight who is very likely to be doing shady shit too?

I'll treat it like baseball. Those who I have either been caught or are widely considered to be juicers like Slammin' Sammy lose respect. But Frank Thomas, Griffey and Jim Thome are considered clean in my book.

Thome is about as clean as the shit I just took a while ago

I know guys that are mid 20s on the stuff from their doctors. One guy fights for strikeforce and has no problems. I dont like it but it is what it is and its not going to change anytime soon. Infact I think there is a better chance of a no test policy than a legitimate effort to get rid of PEDs in sports

You talk to any Ohio baseball fan who watched Thome for years and its about a 9/10 "he was definitely on something". He did go from a pretty skinny dude back in the mid-90s to a fucking monster
