The disturbances were preceded by the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Mark Duggan by police on 4 August 2011 during a planned arrest in which one officer was injured.[11] Friends and relatives of Duggan, an alleged cocaine dealer and member of the 'Star Gang', stated that he was unarmed.[12] The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) stated that a non-police-issue handgun was later recovered at the scene.[13]

The shooting took place on the Ferry Lane bridge, next to Tottenham Hale station.[14] Duggan's girlfriend told the Evening Standard newspaper that she was shocked to learn her boyfriend of thirteen years was carrying a gun.[14]

The incident was referred to the IPCC.[11] This is standard practice whenever a member of the public dies as a result of police action. It is not yet known why police were attempting to arrest Duggan, but the IPCC said that the planned arrest was part of Operation Trident, a unit which investigates gun crime in London's black community to which Duggan belonged. Operation Trident specialises in shootings relating to the illegal trade of drugs.[9]

After the shooting incident the media widely reported that a bullet was found embedded in a police radio, implying Duggan fired on the police.[15] An article in The Guardian reported that preliminary ballistics tests on the bullet recovered from the police radio is consistent with those used by the police themselves.[15]

Well, they are taxed pretty fuckin heavily over there. I remember reading the Beatles were getting taxed NINETY FUCKIN PERCENT of their income by the silly nannies which forced them to sell to an american company which eventually led to Michael Jackson buying their catalong and Paul McCartney needing permission to sing his own damn songs.. I know that makes hardcore liberals cream themselves but it aint right.

It's pretty hard to watch, alot of innocent families have had their houses and business burned, trashed and looted.

The whole world is going to hell, it's no coincidence that 2012 is around the corner.

yeah poor europeans were sold socialism like it was gold and its fucking them up now.

I read an interview with warren buffet and he said we must tax the rich. He also said socialism is great untill everyone runs out of money. I thought this was great. The rich need to be taxed and the wards of states need to get jobs so we can crack down on illegal immigrants and have most people adding to society instead of watching maury povich and eating corner store food all day while the hard working illegals do your job for cash and send it back home untaxed and the burden falls on the dun dun dun upper middle class and middle class.

we are moving very close to complete global economic collapse. This is being done by design though. The ruling class do actually have a plan to create a new world order. They admit it.

The sad thing is, even if this thing in London started out as a civil disobediance for political reasons, it has quickly turned into criminal looting and rioting and will acomplish nothing but bring Martial Law and many innocent people will die. And it will turn races against eachother.

If you think these types of things can't happen here, then you are not paying very good attention.
