Khan knocked Judah out in the fifth round with a body shot.

so happy i hung out with a freak intead of watched this and got angry drunk bird

a sloppy fight, controlled by Khan, that never seemed to really get off the ground, and then ended anticlimatically.

I thought this might have been a good fight. It was not.

Yeah I really thought Zab had a good shot to pull the upset.

instead he got clowned and did almost nuffin'...

He is getting up there in age and Khan is a very good fighter so it wasnt shocking i guess.

Khan looked really classy last night, no wild lunges or leaping in recklessly. He's only going to get better.

I don't think it's crazy to say Khan might be able to beat Floyd soon, he's not getting any younger.

man Zab looked so old last night and hes only 33, kinda sad, but hey he just beat tough guys in Mathysse and Saizer, hopefully this isnt the end of Zab

Zabs chin is giving up on him now though. he has been knocked down in like his last 3 or 4 fights i believe.

Khan made Zab look old because he's so fast. It's the first time Zab's fought a fast athletic fighter in a long time.

honestly I think its Khan is fast but not so much that as it is obvious Zab has lost some of those lightning fast reflexes, go rewatch Zab fights, he had weird head movement, he kept his head placed to the left or right properly but was slow in moving his head because he could see it coming (accept against Tzsu of course)

Last night Zab couldnt make Khan miss anything and his jab was no where to be found. I think father time has gotten to Zab

Same here. He still throws fast but he doesnt make any1 miss him at all anymore.

go look at Khan's connect %, it was pretty low. I thought Zab was making Khan miss plenty, problem was, he could not mount a counter attack.

And as noted by Max, I think it was Khan's reach, more then his speed that was giving Zab problems. Not to mention anytime Zab tried to punch his way in close, they were banging heads, and then Khan would tie him up.

He hit Zab with some bigs shots and thats what I was talking about more than connect percentage.

sure, in boxing we expect guys to get hit from time to time. But I don't think bird's comment was accurate.

Neither did I. Getting hit wasn't the problem, he couldn't pull the trigger on anything

I can remember 2 instances where he hit Khan with a pretty nice shot, one that left to the solar plexus, the other a right when they were in tight, good shots and Khan looked a little stunned by each, but Judah could not follow up.

And he had the quicker hands in my eyes. Just could not get a punch off. Perhaps he was too busy avoiding the shots of a pretty busy and significantly longer Khan, but either way, he was not throwing nearly enough.

I've never been a big Zab guy. Thought he pussed out after winning the first half of the fight against Mayweather in his biggest fight to date. Gained a lot of respect for him for the beating he took against Cotto and stayed in there. Last night it looked like he was trying to sell a low blow and took the easy way out in a fight where he had nothing though

THIS its hard to believe that when I was a teenager there was this guy named Zab Judah that reminded everyone of Pernell Whitaker but more powerful. Just shows you how amazing Whitaker was that he stayed at the top for so long.

I remember when Zab had good defense it slowly deteriorated and sadly we can only judge off his last fight and it didnt look good

ok great point, I actually didnt see the stats on that, I was with some people so didnt get to pay attention when fight ended, but I believe ya, Honestly watching the fight I definitely without a doubt, were talking I would bet my left nut, that we saw Zab get hit with punches last night that a younger Zab would have avoided, you could see him try to pull his head out with out moving his hands. He just couldnt get the head away quite fast enough , stuff like that.

yyou kinda just proved my point, Zab in the old days avoided punches easy and made you pay with a thunderous counter left uppercut or hook, it was his patent punch, the lean back, dodge your shot and make you pay with the left.

seriously if you said "so-and-so knocked out Zab in under 6 rounds" that meant ALOT cause even Floyd Mayweather said it, "for 4 rounds he is one of the best in boxing."
