| Did anyone catch this fight?
I thought this was a fight of the year contender with both men trading hard shots throughout, Mitchell displayed the more refined skills and eventually breaking down Murray who never stopped coming forward. I thought the ref should probably have halted it after Murray was dropped onto all fours by a flush left hook in the 8th but he was forced to step in seconds later anyway.
Mitchell looked back to his best after a spell in the wilderness and promised to rematch murray if he wins a world title. Hopefully he will win a title so we can see some more of this | |
