NBA draft/trade rumors

Figured I'd make a new thread, maybe even move some of the stuff over.

Rumors that Hawks are shopping Josh Smith. There were reports of him to Boston but now they are saying he wants to play in Orlando with Dwight.

Andre Iguodala also being shopped around. I think either him or Smith could be great additions to the right teams. Very solid players.

i heard they were offering J Nelson and Anderson for him... i dont think its worth it, I hate how he plays with no aggression most of the time and jacks up useless 3s

I read it was Turk and Nelson for Andre. Both Andre and Josh are rumored in trades to Orlando.

Rudy Gay is being shopped around also.

Chicago need a SG badly.

LA is again trying to move up and grab the second pick from the Wolves but this time their offering Odom

Odom and Walton for Iggy being discussed.

Be happy to get rid of Walton that's for sure.


LO for the 2nd? 50/50 on that, Williams gets you younger and he could be Odom caliber at some point or better, have to think about it.

That could work. Iggy is an athletic wing man and Odom is just a luxury on the Lakers.

Yep..and apparently the Kings coach Paul Westphal does not like the pick. The GM Geoff Petrie might not even like the pick...the word is the Maloofs liked Jimmer.

Kings had a deal in place to get Tony Parker and Richarard Jefferson with a deal involving the #7 pick and i'm guessing salary dumpage...but THE MALOOFS ARE POOR and didnt like the contracts. They see the figures by Tony Parker and Jefferson and run...even though adding Parker would be huge.
