jury duty

Fucking sucks. I just got dismissed until 8:30 am tomorrow.

Fuck no. It means you get $20 bucks a day for being there, that's it. I can't get fired at work because of jury duty but they don't pay me for those days. So I'm missing out on money big time.

I gets money in the market. But I don't touch that money. It just keep stackin. I keep that money separate from the money I earn. Never spend that money.

I saw an episode of something recent where a character was trying to do that, I think it was American Dad.

I got called in last year. Fortunately i didnt have to go beyond the first day but i missed a day of work, which would have been great had i not been stuck at the court house for longer than my regular work day for no pay.

made me regret voting.

Although it was funny watching the selection process and the peoples answers to the lawyers questions. Everybody made sure to make it seem like they were incredibly unfit to serve on a jury.

Thus the reason I do not vote.

Damn what a boring process. I came in today and they drew 12 names of the remaining 42 of us left. We were all in the same room though and the judge and lawyers questioned the selected 12 for a couple hours. All 12 answer honestly and don't seem to be really trying to get out of it. But 1 bitch is just stupid. 20 years old works at Sonic just had a baby and just dumb as shit. She gets dismissed. So they pick 1 more name to replace her and....it's fucking me. They call my name. But I got up there and play it beautifully. I tell them I don't feel comfortable casting judgement and I really don't want to be there. They ask me different questions and I'm just a dick the entire time. They asked me if I would like someone like me to be on my jury and I answer no of course. Anyways, BOOM! I'm released and free to go. The other 40 fuckers are still up there being bored to death. Gave the crazy eyes as I laughed on out that bitch. You don't want me I'm craaazy.

I definitely caught them off guard since it was all running smooth until then. I think by the time I was done the whole room wanted me out of there. Mission accomplished.
