Tough Enough!

Subject: Tough Enough! Mon Apr 18, 2011 7:54 pm

I know there are a few wrestling fans on here. I have been watching the 1st couple weeks and its kinda interesting. Stone Cold Steve Austin is the head trainer and Trish Stratus and Booker T are helping him. I know some people hate wrestling but some may enjoy this. Its on USA at 8pm Eastern time.

Never liked that show, although should be better with Austin and Trish instead of Tazz, the "shootfighting" fat midget

About as lame as The Ultimate Fighter.

I figured the Tough Enough they used to do for MTV back in the day was for real since Al Snow and all of them dropped their personas and all that..so this one would be as well..but then i saw a preview of the Rock talking down to the contestants IN CHARACTER.

I missed that Rock promo but on the show none of the wrestlers have been in character at all.

shouldn't acting be a big ingredient in the contestants analysis. The most famous wrestlers were not always very good, just great character actors.

It is for the contestants but not for the hosts.

Yeah, you eitheir got charisma or you don't. These guys can't teach them that. What they need to teach them is how to be on road beating your own ass 300 days a year...fact is, if the rock goes in there talking about laying the smacketh down on some candyasses, these guys arent going to take it seriously because everybody knows thats Dwayne Johnson's act.

Stone Cold seems a bit in character as well, but i'm not sure thats not how he really is.

I watched last night and saw some of last weeks. Was a decent show really. Especially the end.

I remember when they first started this show a few years back. Had some Harvard football player I think. I still think it's crazy Mike from the Real World turned "The Mizz" into a real character.
