An interesting fight for the Strikeforce Welterweight Title. Will Nick Diaz take his win streak to 10 or will Paul Daley win the biggest fight of his career and prove himself a valuable commodity to Strikeforce?

Nick Diaz has a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by Cesar Gracie which gives him a great advantage on the floor against Daley and should the fight end up there we could see Nick winning by sub. Nick has gotten exactly a 1/3 (08) of his wins by submission. Although he has great BJJ Nick likes to stand and bang and has great stamina which allows him to push the pace on his opponent though it also causes him to get hit which could be a problem in this fight. Nick has gotten exactly 1/2 (12) of his wins by KO.

Paul Daley is one of the best strikers in the world at Welterweight and will try to keep this fight standing at all costs. His stamina isn't as great as Nick's and he often has trouble making weight so he will try to finish this fight early. He has won 6 of his last 9 fights in the first round. He has a weakness to wrestling and BJJ and has 5 submission losses to his record so he wont be taking the fight to the floor.

Overall I can see this fight going 2 ways. For Nick to win he has to tire Daley early and take this to the floor and use his greater BJJ to finish with a submission as Daley has never been KO'd in his career. For Daley to win he has to use get Nick to trade with him and get a KO/TKO victory within the first 2 rounds because if he doesn't I can't see him lasting 5 rounds with Nick.

My Prediction- Nick Diaz via Rear Naked Choke or Guillotine Choke in the 3rd round.

i wont ever count daley out with the power that he possesses, but i just see Nick wearing him out with the freakish pace he sets, could he get KOed yes... at the end of the day i got Nick via tko or a nice lil arm bar

i got mousasi all day against jardine and im willing to do a sign bet on it, he's to quick and too good... he might submit the dean if jardine takes it to the ground... mousasi has one of the best and most active guards around IMO, and he's vastly underrated on the mat as well

Daley has never been KO'd/TKO'd and I don't see this being the first time. I think he gets subbed.

Early stoppage.

i do not agree with the stoppage.

A lot of people didn't either. There was only 5 seconds left and the ref should've let it continue.
