Pretty cool how Yahoo has a story on Wilcox. Good to see. It's one of the featured articles today.

I might.

Douglas-Fodor is the only compelling matchup on the card. Both good prospects.

Wilcox should be fighting somebody better than Damm. His last 4 fights he has beaten Shaolin, Bailey, Nakamura, and Tarzan. Now he's fighting Damm who has lost i think 3 in a row and is not as good a Shaolin. He may be as good if not better than Bailey and all them..but Shaolin should have atleast got him a better fight against Pat Healy or something.

his last fight was actually at a 150 catchweight. Dominated the guy.

I actually first saw him a couple years back in a wild slugfest win. Then he went MIA for a bit, don't know the reason why. Still only 28, good athlete, and trains with team Cesar Gracie. He might be a player.

Wilcox, a one time body builder is actually more jacked though. didn't know that the 2 had fought.

One thing that interest me is seeing if there is any noticeable changes in production since this is the first show since Zuffa bought them out.

Although the last couple Challengers series have been much better produced then the earlier ones.

Im guessing no. showtime is in control. The M-1 show mirrored a typical SF show.

Yeah, but that's between Showtime and M-1.

Zuffa, while i'm sure has no direct control on the production as opposed to Showtime probably gave some suggestions that may or may not be heeded. I can definetly see some things changing if not on this one, definetly Diaz-Daley.

but you're probably right.

one difference between the challengers and M-1 is ring announcer. M-1 went top shelf with Lennon Jr.

SF challengers bring in stiffs who are forced to read some cornball "before they are champions" bs.
