this is kinda like the Segal thing in a pretty common move is being given alot of credit to someone that didnt really invent the move.

Not the same at all
Eddie Bravo has always given credit for learning the move from his wrestling days, even does so in that video. What he did though was master the move and create setups acclicable in BJJ. When he used the move, no one knew what it was, and I think Machado called it that twisting thing, and it eventual became known as the "twister" in BJJ. There already is a guillotine in BJJ. This is why people are saying, "Eddie Bravo is probably somewhere smiling".
