I'm guessing Silva doesn't know how the brackets in this tourney work

And if the big man has his way, he'll get an all-Brazilian finale later this year and a fight with fellow countryman and fellow Emelianenko-stopper Fabricio Werdum.

"I don't pick opponents; I'll fight anyone," Silva said through manager and translator Alex Davis. "Werdum is my friend. He's a Brazilian. I'm rooting for him. That way, the finals would be all Brazilians."



Unless of course they change the brackets.

Almost all of the fighters speak English, they just choose not to use it.

They probably are just being careful of pissing of the people from where ever their from. Like when all those deaf people got mad at Matt Hamill for not signing during his interview. I don't know

Maybe who knows.

It's more along the lines that they aren't totally comfortable with the language and they don't want to say the wrong thing and look foolish.
