| I wanted to make a list of top fighters who made their UFC debut's in their first actual MMA/NHB fight. So here it is. Add whoever you fell I have left off.
Royce Gracie - officially, his first mma/nhb fight was at the first UFC.
Dan Severn - another great who debuted at UFC 4. Who would thought the old timer would be 100 fights in 17 years alter.
Guy Mezger - debuted at UFC 4, won alternate bout against Jason Fairn, also won an alternate bout at UFC 5 before going to Pancrase.
Tank Abbott - debuted at UFC 6 and instantly became one of the most popular fighters in the sport at the time.
Don Frye - debuted at UFC 8, winning a very tough tournament.
Gary Goodridge - another person who had their mma debut at UFC 8.
Mark Coleman - debuted at UFC 10 winning the tournament, also won the smallest tournament (no finale) at UFC 11.
Randy Couture - UFC 13 saw this all time great debut and win the heavyweight tournament.
Tito Ortiz - made his debut at UFC 13 as an alternate, lost in the finals to Guy Mezger.
Chuck Liddell - UFC 17 saw a skinny Chuck Liddell get a unanimous decision victory over Noe Hernandez.
BJ Penn - UFC 31 saw BJ Penn face Joey Gilbert officially making Joey Gilbert a footnote in mma history.
