Not many artists from the 60's and 70's can say that they would be just as big if they came out today like the Beatles can. The record sales back it up..only Eminem has sold more records the past 10 years than the 40 year old Beatles stuff.

I can like the Beatles when I need to. Not like a super fan but I definitely see them as a seminal point in the evolution of both British rock and, by extension, heavy metal.
