Kobe has not passed Shaq. Shaq was the man on 4 title teams. Kobe 2. Russell was much better than Wilt. Russell is the greatest team player while Wilt was a selfish ball hog.

Every GM would build their team around a prime Shaq over a prime Kobe. If Lebron or Wade were in Kobe's team they would've won those titles also.

Shaq won 3 Titles with Kobe as 1A, then Wade was the reason they won in 06 in Wade's one claim to fame. Kobe has won 2 Titles without Shaq as the main guy, went to 3 Championships.

Gm's might take prime Shaq to build their team around over Bird, doesn't mean he's above him.

As a single player, Wilt is better then Russell, Russell had a better team around him which people overlook.
